I had an issue in vRealize Orchestrator appliance 7.4 which prevent me to login into the console and i got the error : Account locked due to 6 failed logins .
First try to reboot the appliance and press space to stop automatic boot .
Then press “e” in order to edit GRUB menu :
After pressing e you will be able to edit the kernel boot option:
Now append init=/bin/bash to the kernel options:
Then press enter to go back to the GRUB menu, and press b to boot:
Wait until it boots completely:
Try to reset the password for root account and reboot:
